Equity House

Your data, in plain English

This policy explains how Equity House Group Limited ("Equity House", "we", "us") handles personal data you submit through this website. It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Equity House Group Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. You can reach us at contact@equityhouse.io.

What we collect

The only personal data we actively collect is what you choose to send us through the contact form on this site:

We do not run user accounts, take payments, or build behavioural profiles. If you consent to optional cookies, limited usage data may be collected — see our cookie policy for details.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

We process the information from your contact form on the basis of our legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to enquiries about our work, and where relevant to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

We will only use what you send us to reply to your message and follow up on the conversation. We will not use it for marketing without separate, clearly worded consent.

Who sees it

Your message is read by members of the Equity House team. We use standard email and hosting providers to receive and store correspondence; those providers act as processors on our behalf under written terms. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. After that we delete or anonymise it, unless we are legally required to keep it longer (for example, for tax or dispute records).

International transfers

Some of our providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK- recognised safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) to keep your data protected to UK standards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@equityhouse.io. We will respond within one month. You can also contact the ICO directly at ico.org.uk.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with the data you trust us with.
